Educational Qualification:
- Sub-Inspector (Vehicle Mechanic): Three years Diploma/Degree in Auto Mobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- For Constable: Matriculation or 10th pass
- Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse): 10+2 or equivalent
- For Assistant Sub-Inspector: 10+2 or equivalent with Science from recognized Board or Institution.
- For Inspector (Librarian): Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University or Institute.
Age Limit:
- Sub-Inspector (Vehicle Mechanic): Maximum 30 years
- For Constable: Between 18 to 25 years
- SI (Staff Nurse): 21 to 30 years
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (Lab Technician): 18 to 25 years
- Assistant Sub-Inspector (Physiotherapist): 20 to 27 years
- Inspector (Librarian): Male and Female candidates not exceeding 30 years of age.
Salary Structure:
- For Sub-Inspector: Level-6 (Rs.35,400 to 1,12,400/-)
- For Constable: Level-3 (Rs.21,700 to 69,100/-)
- For Assistant Sub-Inspector: Level-5 (29,200 to 92,300/-)
- For Inspector (Librarian): Level-7 (Rs. 44,900 to 1,42,400/-)
How to apply
Candidates have to apply online by visiting BSF official website www.rectt.bsf.gov.in. No other method of submission of application will be accepted. Online submission of application form consists of following steps:-
- Step-1: One Time Registration (OTR).
- Step-2: Fill the online application.
- Step-III: Payment of examination fee through prescribed digital mode.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay examination fee of Rs.200/- for Group-B, and Rs.100/- for Group-C posts only and service charge of Rs.47.20 through the following payment modes by Common Service Center (CSC):-
- Net banking of any bank.
- Credit/Debit Card of any bank.
- Nearest Authorized Common Service Centre
Female candidates and Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, BSF serving personnel and ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of examination fee.
