Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published a job notification for the recruitment of Assistant Commandant (Group A) in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). There are 100 vacancies for the post of CISF Assistant Commandant. Candidates who have completed graduation in relevant subject are eligible to apply.
To apply, candidates must register online in the UPSC portal, accessible through www.upsconline.nic.in on or before 14.05.2024. Other information regarding eligibility criteria, selection process and application procedure is detailed in the following article.

Educational Qualification:
A candidate must possess a graduation degree from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature of India or from other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed to be a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or equivalent qualification. have to stay
Age Limit:
A candidate must have completed 20 years of age and must not have attained 25 years of age on 1st August 2024 i.e. he must not be before 2nd August 1999 and not after 1st August 2004.
Selection Process:
The Selection Procedure/Scheme of Examination will be as follows:
- written test
- Physical Standard/Physical Ability Test and Medical Standard Test
- Interview/Personality Test
How to apply
Candidates have to apply online using www.upsconline.nic.in website only. The applicant should first register himself/herself on the One Time Registration Platform available on the website of the Commission and then proceed to fill the online application for the examination. OTR registration is required only once in lifetime. This can be done at any time of the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can directly proceed to fill the online application for the exam.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs.200/- [excepting SC/ST/Female candidates who are exempted from payment of fee] Either by sending cash to any branch of State Bank of India or using a Visa/Master/Rupee credit/debit card/UPI payment or using any bank’s net banking.
