Army Dental Corps Eligibility Criteria 2024
Eligibility:
Short Service Commission in Army Dental Corps is open to BDS/MDS candidates with requisite qualification from College/University recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI). The college should be recognized for the respective batch/year in which the candidate has graduated. Candidates must register themselves as a Registered Dental Practitioner with any State Dental Council. Candidates must secure a mandatory minimum of 55% marks in BDS (Aggregate of All Subjects) final year/ hold an MDS degree.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit for SSC will be 45 years as on 31 December 2024.

Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Application Fee
Candidates have to pay Rs.200/- online towards DGAFMS (APF Fund) along with the application. Make online payment only and ensure all details are entered correctly before submitting the application.
Selection Process for Indian Army Recruitment 2024
(i) Screening for call for interview: Candidates will be shortlisted for interview on the basis of marks obtained in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test, NEET (MDS)-2024 by National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi. Candidates will be used for screening which will be called for interview.
(ii) the interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called to appear for an interview before a duly constituted Selection Board to assess their suitability and eligibility for the award of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Army Dental Corps. Candidates eligible for interview will undergo a medical examination.
(iii) treatment test: All shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a detailed medical examination to ensure their medical fitness.
document rendering: Candidates shortlisted for interview will produce all original certificates along with application form/admit card which can be downloaded after filling the application form for verification as applicable at the time of interview. Candidates without original documents at the time of interview will not be eligible despite possessing required qualifications.
Physical Criteria for the Army Dental Corps 2024
(a) height standard male the candidate: Minimum height for entry into AFMS for male cadets is 157 cm. Minimum height 152 cm for candidates from hilly and north-eastern states.
(b) Female Candidates: Minimum height of female cadets for entry into armed forces is 152 cm. Minimum height 147 cm for candidates from hilly and north-eastern states.
