WEBCSC Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for clerical cadre posts involves multiple stages. Initially, candidates will have to appear for an online test consisting of 150 multiple choice questions including Quantitative Aptitude, Test of Reasoning, General Awareness, English and Bengali. Negative marking applies. Based on the marks obtained in Online CBT, candidates are shortlisted for interview/viva-voce.
In addition, candidates must take a practical test of basic computer knowledge, which is qualifying in nature. Verification of testimonials is done for provisionally enrolled candidates, who must produce original documents and submit self-attested copies. The final merit list is prepared by combining the marks obtained from Online CBT and Interview/Viva-Voce.

Applicants should provide accurate personal, academic, technical and computer details in the application form. Along with the application form, candidates must upload scanned copies of their passport-size photograph, signature, left thumb impression, secondary or equivalent examination admit card/certificate and caste certificate (if applicable).
The examination fee and processing fee should be paid through the provided e-payment gateway using debit card, credit card or net banking facility. After successful submission of application and payment, candidates will receive a registration number and transaction ID.
