WBPSC Clerkship Exam Date 2024 Out: The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has finally announced the much awaited Clerkship Exam schedule. This announcement comes as a huge relief to job aspirants who are eagerly waiting for the exam date.
The Clerkship Exam notification was originally published in December of the previous year. The application window was open from December 8, 2023 to December 29, 2023, during which 7,14,413 applicants were specifically registered for the exam.
WBPSC Clerkship Exam Date 2024 Reasons for Delay
The interim Lok Sabha elections are believed to have delayed the exam schedule, necessitating a postponement. However, with the latest update from WBPSC, candidates can now mark their calendar. The clerkship examination will be conducted over two days, namely November 16 and November 17, 2024, which falls on a Saturday and Sunday. This two-day schedule aims to accommodate a large number of applicants and ensure a smooth examination process.

WBPSC Clerkship Exam Pattern 2024
Two parts:
Part-1 (Objective Type):
Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes
Total Marks: 100
Subjects: English (30 Marks), General Studies (40 Marks), Arithmetic (30 Marks)
Part II (Conventional Type – Written):
Duration: 1 hour
Total Marks: 100
Subject: English (Group A, 50 Marks), Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali/Santali (Group B, 50 Marks)
Assessment of computer operations and typing:
Assessment is conducted after qualifying in Part-1 and Part-2.
